Stripe Clearing Sync · Effective September 25, 2026
Stripe Clearing Sync (“the App”) is operated by ScaleSpark, Inc. (“we”, “us”). It posts Stripe payouts as bank deposits in the QuickBooks Online company connected to it. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
Information we collect
- Your Intuit sign-in profile. When you sign in with Intuit, we receive your name, email address, and whether Intuit has verified that email. We never see or store your Intuit password.
- QuickBooks access tokens. Intuit issues tokens that let the App access the connected QuickBooks company. They are stored encrypted.
- QuickBooks data. The App reads our company name, chart of accounts, customer payments, and deposits, and creates deposits. It does not read or change any other QuickBooks data.
- Stripe data. Using a read-only key, the App reads payouts and the payments, refunds, fees, and disputes inside them. This can include a payer’s name, email address, and payment description.
- Activity log. For each payout posted, we record the payout ID, deposit ID, amount, time, and the email of the person who posted it.
How we use it
Only to sign you in, show payouts for review, match them to QuickBooks payments, and post the deposits you approve. We do not use the data for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent any data. It is exchanged only with Intuit and Stripe to perform the functions above, and it is stored with our hosting provider. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Cookies
The App uses one signed session cookie to keep you signed in. It uses no analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies.
Security and retention
Data is sent over HTTPS, QuickBooks tokens are encrypted at rest, and access is limited to authorized users of the connected QuickBooks company. Tokens are kept until the App is disconnected from QuickBooks. The activity log is kept as part of the accounting records. Financial data itself stays in QuickBooks and Stripe; the App does not keep copies beyond what it needs to show a page.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time. A QuickBooks admin can revoke the App’s access at any time, either under Accounts → Disconnect QuickBooks in the App or from the Apps page in QuickBooks. When the App is disconnected, its stored tokens are deleted.
